This past October we co-hosted and organized a program with the Arlington Arts Center called Nasty Women: Art Talks (click on Programs for more information). We had the pleasure and honor of inviting 9 talented and diverse voices to speak their truth by telling a story about their role as a female and female identifying artist. This program was in collaboration with the Now Be Here photo event that took place at the National Museum of Women in the Arts where artist Kim Schoenstadt gathered together over 500 women to take a collective group photograph. We are grateful to D.C. artist collaborator Linn Meyers for inviting us to participate during this historic moment, and to Karyn Miller, the Exhibitions Director at the Arlington Arts Center for hosting these talks.
